Privacy policy

Last updated 27 August 2026

The Net Sponge is designed as a small static website. It does not currently require an account, checkout, comment system or contact form.

Cloudflare hosting and analytics

The site may be hosted through Cloudflare. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it is used for aggregate traffic and performance reporting without adding a separate advertising tracker to the site.

Affiliate links

When you click an Amazon affiliate link, you leave The Net Sponge and enter Amazon’s website or app. Amazon operates its own cookies, accounts, tracking and privacy practices. The Net Sponge may receive aggregate affiliate reporting such as clicks, ordered items and commission attribution through the Associates programme.

Cookies

The Net Sponge does not intentionally set its own advertising cookies. Hosting providers may use strictly necessary technologies for security and delivery. If the site later adds advertising, forms or other tracking tools, this policy will be updated before those tools are deployed.

External links

Links to external websites are provided for research, shopping and further reading. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the site adds new services or tracking. The date at the top will be changed when that happens.

This page is a practical site privacy notice, not legal advice.
